Maize Flour

Maize flour swallow (or Tuwon Masara) is a popular West African staple, a soft, dough-like paste made from cooked cornmeal, served as a starchy side to scoop up soups and stews, similar to fufu, and is prepared by gradually mixing cornmeal with boiling water and stirring until it forms a thick, lump-free consistency, then shaped and served hot with vegetable or meat-based soups.
